Pearl Family Densitry is attending the Mayor’s Ball Gala- celebrating Mayor Matt Serrato and his community contributions to the City of Merced. The Mayor’s Ball gala is a charitable event hosted by the Merced County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, along with a diverse group of local business owners. The event will be a black tie attire and formal wear occasion. It will be an evening filled with live music, a lavish meal, and dancing.

Pearl Family Dentistry has put together a team to commemorate all first responders. To raise support, and to raise awareness for our West Coast Heroes.

It’s that Spooooky time of year again here at Pearl Family Dentistry! We are partnered again with #Operationgratitude and are proud to present our 2nd Annual Candy Buy Back event November 2nd! Stop by and donate your leftover candy as we send it overseas to our troops ((Don’t worry, we also send toothbrushes)) and first responders who do not have the opportunity to enjoy the sweets that we get too. Run for the Fallen will take place on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Applegate Park in Merced, CA. This event is a National run and it honors and remembers those service members that have died while serving our Country. Here in Merced, CA we have a few soldiers who have laid down their lives to protect our freedoms. We invite our patients to join the community and help us remember the fallen, and support the families they’ve left behind.

Come join us and the Merced Police and Fire Department, as we get together for a fun family friendly event! The Merced Police Department hosts the 35th Nationwide annual National Night Out. This event features law enforcement agencies spending time outdoors in neighborhoods for a variety of events. The main event in Merced will be held at Applegate Park and will include free food, Kiddieland rides, music, raffle prizes, public safety information and more.

It’s that time of year again! Time to break out your running (or walking) shoes and participate in the annual Stroke Awareness 5K. As an added bonus, we want to extend the invitation to your friends and family. Ask us how we can sign you up for free and come support a great cause! For the past three years, we have bought candy back from our community to both lessen cavities in Merced County and to give back to those overseas protecting us and first responders, through the nonprofit Operation Gratitude! Our goal was 100lbs of candy donated or bought back and we exceeded it by 48lbs!

There will be free health screenings and information, kids’ activities, music, entertainment, a rock wall and sky jump. Make sure to stop by our booth for a chance to win some free prizes! The event is put on by Buhach Colony HS in conjunction with the 20-30 Club of Merced County and our local US Marines’ Toys for Tots drive in order to encourage our community to donate new, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children and their families. Part of the proceeds will benefit a number of annual scholarships for graduating seniors in the Merced Unified High School District.

Merced County’s poverty rate rose to 27.4%, according to the U.S. Census, with the national average at 15.9%. The number of reasons for local homelessness was the high cost of housing and the skyrocketing unemployment rates in the country.

This is why we are volunteering at “D” Street Homeless Shelter this November. Come help Pearl Family Dentistry with feeding the community. Please come out and show your support!

We are teaming up with Operation Gratitude for the second time! Operation Gratitude annually sends 150,000+ care packages filled with snacks, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, plus personal letters of appreciation, to New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors, Care Givers and to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed overseas.

Make sure to come into the office November 1st thru the 4th from 8:00am to 5:00 to sell that candy back for 1$ per pound up to 5 pounds!

Don’t forget to write a letter/ note for our deployed soldiers and we will send that with the candy also!

All half marathon net race proceeds are pledged to creating a scholarship for Merced County high school students who attend UCM! In May, they were able to award two $2,500 scholarships to Merced County high school graduates attending UC Merced.
